At Crystal Lake Floral Design & Orchids By Murphy, we feel it is important to make as minimal of an impact on the worlds landfills and toxic waste sites as possible
We recycle just about everything and are as eco-friendly as possible, we use a minimum of pesticides in our pest management program in our greenhouses and have gone from two dumpster tips per week, to one every 3 to 4 months!
We compost all of our flower trimmings and greenhouse organic waste
We recycle all of our corrugated packaging products
Our Aluminum cans go every few months to the scrap iron yard for 80 - 100 USD - nice cash in the pocket
It has been fairly easy to make these transitions over the past 3 years, we encourage all business to do everything they can to reduce their impact on the environment
